Bank Holidays in Tamil Nadu 2018

 भारत में लगभग 20 सार्वजनिक छुट्टियां होती हैं जिनमें दूसरा और चौथा शनिवार शामिल नहीं हैं। कुछ ऐसी सार्वजनिक छुट्टियां होती हैं जो हर बार अलग अलग समय में आती हैं जिनमें कुछ महत्वपूर्ण छुट्टियां शामिल नहीं हैं। सभी सार्वजनिक छुट्टियों के अलावा तीन महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी छुट्टियां भी होती हैं जिन्हें गजेटेड अवकाश (छुट्टियां/हॉलिडेज) कहा जाता है।

ये छुट्टियां गणतंत्र दिवस (26 जनवरी), स्वतंत्रता दिवस (15 अगस्त), गांधी जयन्ती (2 अक्टूबर) हैं। ये तीन छुट्टियां भारत में प्रमुख छुट्टियां हैं क्योंकि इन छुट्टियों के दिन बैंक, सरकारी कार्यालय स्कूल, कॉलेज, शैक्षणिक संस्थान तथा अन्य सभी संस्थाएं वर्ष के इन तीन में बंद रहते हैं। कुछ अन्य धार्मिक त्योहार हैं जब सभी बैंक, शैक्षणिक संस्थान और अन्य कंपनियां बंद रहती हैं। परन्तु कुछ सरकारी कार्यालय, शैक्षणिक संस्थान और व्यापार उनके धार्मिक विश्वास के आधार पर काम करते हैं। ये त्योहार हैं।

महावीर जयन्ती: इस वर्ष महावीर जयन्ती 9 अप्रैल को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु यह एक सार्वजनिक छुट्टी है।
गुड फ्राइडे - इस वर्ष गुड फ्राईडे 14 अप्रैल को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता परन्तु यह हर साल शुक्रवार को ही आता है।
बुद्ध पूर्णिमा - इस वर्ष बुद्ध पूर्णिमा 21 मई को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु यह एक सार्वजनिक छुट्टी है।
रमदान - इस वर्ष रमदान 26 जून को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु यह एक सार्वजनिक छुट्टी है।
बकरीद - इस वर्ष बकरीद 2 सितंबर को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु यह एक सार्वजनिक छुट्टी है।
दशहरा - इस वर्ष दशहरा 30 सितंबर को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु यह एक सार्वजनिक छुट्टी है और हरियाणा में यह बैंक हॉलीडे है।
मुहर्रम - इस वर्ष मुहर्रम 1 अक्टूबर को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु हरियाणा में इस दिन सरकारी छुट्टी होती है।
दीपावली- इस वर्ष दीपावली 19 अक्टूबर को है। हर साल यह त्योहार एक समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु हरियाणा में इस दिन सरकारी छुट्टी होती है।
गुरु नानक जयन्ती - इस वर्ष गुरु नानक जयन्ती 4 नवंबर को है। हर साला यह त्योहार समान तारीख को नहीं आता। परन्तु यह एक सार्वजनिक छुट्टी होती है।
क्रिसमस - 25 दिसंबर। हर साल क्रिसमस समान तारीख को ही आता है।
