Sandur Laminates Ltd was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 30th November, 1992. The present authorised capital of the Company is Rs.30 crores. The Company is promoted by The Sandur Manganese a Iron Ores Ltd, in technical, financial and marketing collaboration with West Coast Enterprises Inc(WCE), USA. The Company is setting up facilities for manufacturing 15 million sq.ft. p.a. of Glass Epoxy Copper Clad Laminates.

This is a hitech project involving technical, financial and marketing collaboration and also substantial import of Plant a Machinery. The implementation of the project started during July '93 and commercial production was expected by April '95 as per the appraisal of IDBI during
March 93. Subsequently upon commencement of the project, certain modifications to buildings, airconditioning and water treatment plant were necessitated to ensure better quality product and the commencement of commercial production is now expected in September'95.
