Telephone Cables (TCL) is a joint sector company promoted by Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (PSIDC) and Mr.H.S. Brar, an entrepreneur in 1983. The Company is engaged in the manufacture of Jelly-filled telephone cables (JFTC) and dry core cables with an Installed capacity of 12.5 Lakh Core kilometers/annum. The Company entered the capital market during April 1988.

The project is located at Mohali near Chandigarh. The company entered into a technical collaboration with United Technologies (Essex Division), USA for the project.
