YEAR EVENTS
1990 - Sharat sea foods Ltd was incorporated on 7th May, as Sharat sea
Foods Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad, Andra pradesh and was later converted
into Public Llimited company with effect from 20-04-1992 in terms
of special resoluition passed on 9-3-92 u/s 31(1) 44 of the
Companies Act, 1956.

- The company has been incorporated with the objective of setting
up an integrated aquaculture project consisting of a Hatchery,
Feed mill, Grow-out Farm and Processing Plant which will produce
Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) and other value added products.

1991 - The company began by setting up a pilot project at Venkannapalem
Village, Thotapalli Gudur Mandalam, Nellore District, Andhra
Pradesh for brakish water prawn culture in 10 hectares of water
spread area using indigenously developed technology.

- In its very first harvest and bagged the Best Performance Award
for Semi-Intensive Shrimp Culture in Andhra Pradesh from the
Association of Shrimp farmers adjudged by MPEDA for the year
1991-92.

2000
-Akar Laminators Ltd. & Vishnu Vijay Packagers Ltd. was amalgamated to the company.

2011
- Sharat Industries Ltd have shifted the Administrative Office from:16/375, A/2, Ramalingapuram, Nellore - 524 003. To: H.No. 16-2-405, Opp. Manasa Apartment, Srinivasa Agraharam, Nellore - 524001.

2024
-The company issued rights shares of Rs. 10 in the ratio of 13:20 at a premium of Rs. 21 per share.
