SRI SARITA SYNTHETICS LIMITED, was incorporated on 13th October 1993 as a Private Limited Company and was subsequently converted into a Public Limited Company on 28th October 1994 in terms of special resolution dated 8/9/94 passed under section 31(1)/44 of the Companies Act, 1956. The company is setting up a project for manufacture of texturised polyester filament yarn (PFY), polyester fabrics for suitings and shirtings and cotton fabrics for shirtings and bedsheets with an installed capacity of 1034 TPA, 25.20 lakh meters p.a. and 22.96 lakh meters p.a. respectively at Anthakapalli Village, Rajam Mandal, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh.

1996-97,

-Cotton weaving division started commercial production from August 1996.

2000
- Sarita Software and Industries, a 100 per cent EOU under the Visakhapatnam Export Processing Zone (VEPZ), has bagged export performance awards for the financial year 1999-2000.


2003

-The shareholders have approved to delist the Equity Shares from Ahmedabad, Madras, Hyderabad Stock Exchanges.
