Bhandari Traders Private Limited was incorporated on the 17th day of March, 1979 and was converted into a Public Limited Company by changing the name to Bhandari Udyog Limited on 13.9.94. The Company was initially engaged in the trading of both raw cotton known as kappas and pressed cotton known as lint cotton. During 1983-84, the Promoters set up the present cotton ginning and pressing unit with a Term Loan assistance from Karnataka State Finance Corporation (KSFC). The Company has since then registered a steady grnwth till 1992. During the year 1993-94, the Company ventured into a forward integration programme for extraction of oil from cotton seeds with Term Loan assistance of Rs. 45 lakhs from KSFC. The Commercial production of cotton seed oil started during December 93. During 1993, on account of bad monsoon conditions, the sales of the Company had declined. However, Company has posted excellent results for the year'94 and for the current year also.Â

-The company name has been changed from Bhandari Udhyog Ltd to M. K. B. Industries Limited.Â

--The company name has been changed from Bhandari Udhyog Ltd to R K B Agro Industries Limited.Â
