International Diamond Services Ltd. was incorporated on 26th October, 1989 as a Public Limited Company in New Delhi and obtained the certificate of commencement to Business on 10th January, 1990 from the Registrar of Companies, Delhi & Haryana. Due to slack market and stiff
competition the company could not start commercial operations immediately in 1990. It started its commercial operations during 1991-92 only.

The Company is mainly engaged in the business of dealing in diamonds, precious & semiprecious stones. It is also getting rough diamonds processed on job basis through various sub-contracted processors in Gujarat. Although some of the group companies are already in the business of precious and semi-precious stones the objective is to establish a Corporate identity of the group and expand its export business.
