1973 - Incorporated in 1973 as 'Fairy Land Amusement and Water Parks Ltd.' by Jack Steadman and Lamar Hunt of the Hunt Corporation.

1976 - Worlds Of Fun added their first new coaster after opening.

1078 - There was first removal of a ride at Worlds of Fun which was The Safari, a simple ride through the forest that featured many fake animals.

1980 - The addition of the river ride, 'The Fury of the Nile' was placed in the Africa section in 1980.

1993 - Worlds of Fun added the kiddy roller coaster, the 'Wacky Worm'.

- During the same year they first of the three ships was removed.

1995 - The park announced that it was for sale.

2005

- Fairyland Amusement & Water Parks Ltd`s board of directors has approved on May 03, 2005 to consider the sub-division of the existing shares of the company of Rs. 10 each into Rs.1 each.

-Company has splits its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Re 1

2006

- There was a re-appointment of Mr. Gopal Dave, as Director of the Company.

- Also Mr. K S Sathi & Mr. D S Parmar, appointed as Directors of the Company, who were liable to retire by rotation.

2009

-Name of the Company has changed to Global Films & Broadcasting Limited.
