YEAR EVENTS
The company was incorporated in October 1945 at Bhavanagar. The main objective of the company is to purchase, charter, hire, building and acquire of steam or other ships or vessels or crafts of any description including trawlers suitable for deep-sea fishing and to employ them to conveyance of passengers, mills and goods of all kinds between ports and places in different parts of the world.

1958

-Equity shares of Rs. 100 each subdivided into Equity shares of Rs. 10 each.

1969

-Reduction of capital at Rs. 5 per share as per order dated 8th October, of the Gujarat High Court for refunding the amount to the shareholders.

1971

-The company disposed of s.s. `Bharatdeepak' for break-up purposes to Mumbai buyers and the vessel and delivered to them. Since then the company had only one vessel viz. s.s. `Bhararatjal'.
