Welcome Onboard: Nirupama K S – Editor (Kannada)

Dear All, We are delighted to welcome Nirupama aboard as Editor of the Kannada team! She will lead both Kannada News, MyKhel and Video teams

Nirupama brings over two decades of rich experience in content and journalism. Over the course of her career, she has witnessed the evolution of social media, adapted to the rapidly changing digital landscape, and developed a strong focus on fact-checking during a time when misinformation was at its peak.

In her previous roles, she has worked with Kannadaprabha.com and Vijaya Karnataka, and most recently led the digital team at Asianet Suvarna News.

As the industry now enters the era of Artificial Intelligence, we are excited that she is beginning her new chapter with Oneindia — embracing new opportunities to explore, learn, and evolve further.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading Kannada fiction and non-fiction, practices yoga and meditation regularly, and loves travelling.
